AsyncAPI Community Update February 2025 Hey, 👋🏿 AsyncAPI community! We’re back for the new year with your monthly community updates! Read the 2025 Annual Summary to see how we progressed in the past year. 📢Announcements! We’re heading to San Jose for Developer Week in less than 2 weeks. Free passes are available, and do check out the agenda as well. The AsyncAPI spec maintainers now meet monthly to coordinate specification work and are seeking community input on key proposals: Late/out-of-sequence events (Issue #1143): Adding event delivery latency specifications for streaming frameworks like Apache Flink and Spark. Multiple security schemes (Issue #1129): Enabling AND logic so multiple security mechanisms can be required simultaneously. Discriminator alignment (Issue #1073): Expanding beyond string-only discriminators to align with the OpenAPI Discriminator Object. We’re expanding our conferences and introducing AsyncAPI Meetups. The Conference Coordination WG is busy working on the website page and adding details. Get ready and start sharing the news! The AsyncAPI Spec 3.1 is now available!
