View this email in your browser Project Status Update We released Generator 0.30.0 🎉 Git support is now enabled. When you generate files: To non-empty directory, you get an error with information that you can lose some of your work that can be overwritten. To a directory in a Git repository, you get an error that you might lose some of your work but only in case you have some unstaged changes, and the directory is not in .gitignore. We also introduced a new flag in CLI called --force-write (it is also supported on a library level) and it will allow you to ignore rules provided by this feature. We opened an issue about improving AsyncAPI governance model to have it as open as possible. Feel free to leave a comment. AsyncAPI Special Interest Group (SIG) open meeting Last Meeting The last SIG meeting took place on the 18th of February. The topics we discussed were: We talked about Conventional Commits spec and how it can help us with release publishing automation. We decided to give it a try. We decided to give GitHub Actions a try, and migrate there overtime pipelines set up on TravisCI. We will be able to use GitHub Actions for things (like stale tickets management) that normally we would automate using different tools like Probot. To make AsyncAPI a welcoming community for contributors and also other reasons we discussed this issue and decided to go forward with implementation. We agreed to standardize work across all repositories with basic actions listed in this issue. We got a question from the audience about how to start contributing and pick up an issue. As a result we published a document that at the moment is a WIP and long term plan is to get a clear instruction or flow diagram out of it that makes contributors onboarding easier.
