To manage the work across all those repos we use ZenHub. Over the last two weeks we’ve put an effort to cleanup GitHub organization and archived some not needed repositories. We also cleaned up ZenHub setup. The result of these actions is a single [ZenHub workspace board](https://app.zenhub.com/workspaces/asyncapi-initiative-5e541969da30b0bc34628b22/board?repos=74170071,127419043,156510564,204180806,196052288,186131784,177837382,142165796,171746596,176187501,185056443,232409614,240340575,91116029) where you can see what we are working on at the moment. For you it is now easier to: - See what is the status of the issue you are interested in, if it is in the Backlog or in different status. - Start contributing by picking issues from the Backlog that no one is working on at the moment. We keep working on a [Contributor Guide](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1uWGDOkeT9J4acD7rPge468Tme0OotynldsXqtpuGTD8/). It is now enriched with the diagram that presents all AsyncAPI repositories and how they depend on each other. To gain access to the document, join [this](https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/asyncapi-users) mailing list. Feel free to join us and work on the guide together. From now on all the repositories will be monitored for old stale issues and PRs so we know about them, review before they get closed, and provide an update to the community. We are also thinking about using [Issue Hunt](https://issuehunt.io) for certain issues. We will try to find first candidates for it, to see if it makes sense. Would be great to hear from you what do you think about the idea. ### Releases There were two releases in the [Generator](https://github.com/asyncapi/generator) project. - Version 0.31.0 - Templates are now independent packages with their own dependency management. - Version 0.32.0 - Now we support server variables in Node.js template. Check out details in [release notes](https://github.com/asyncapi/generator/releases) There was a release in the [JS parser](https://github.com/asyncapi/parser-js/) project. Version 0.14 introduced some new methods in the parser and enabled support for RAML data types as message payloads. We are now in a process of moving RAML and OpenAPI support to external repositories so they act as parser plugins. We discussed important future changes for the Generator: - Enabling support for remote templates. As a result we defined these two issues: - [https://github.com/asyncapi/generator/issues/235](https://github.com/asyncapi/generator/issues/235) - [https://github.com/asyncapi/generator/issues/237](https://github.com/asyncapi/generator/issues/237) - Instead of using current Streetlight example that we sometimes modify in the Generator for testing purposes, we want to work on a more dummy example that we will be able to freely extend for all possible cases of usage of AsyncAPI so it is much easier for us to test features development in templates. There is an issue defined for it: [https://github.com/asyncapi/generator/issues/238](https://github.com/asyncapi/generator/issues/238) - We want to integrate [asyncapi-validator](https://www.npmjs.com/package/asyncapi-validator) project in the Nodejs template.
