Since we're all confined at home due to the coronavirus pandemic, **why not organizing a fully-remote online conference to meet each other and have some fun?** We asked the community and the response was overwhelmingly positive. We had no choice! **Time for some action!** We ran the CFP process and selected all the talks with the help of our friends Andrzej Jarzyna (Adidas), Mike Ralphson (Mermade Software), Jonas Lagoni (EURISCO), and Waleed Ashraf (Relayr). We noticed a growing interest for AsyncAPI. - We reached over [1k stars on GitHub](https://github.com/asyncapi/asyncapi/stargazers). Up by over 300 in just a few days. - We noticed over 6k visits to our [blog post about automating releases](https://www.asyncapi.com/blog/automated-releases/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_content=text&utm_campaign=newsletter-08-04-2020). In just 4 days. Growing interest motivated us to organize a first-ever AsyncAPI online conference -> [https://www.asyncapiconf.com](https://www.asyncapiconf.com/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_content=text&utm_campaign=newsletter-08-04-2020) ### Official GitHub Action for Generator We released the official [GitHub Action for the generator](https://github.com/asyncapi/github-action-for-generator). You can use it to automate your workflows related to AsyncAPI files. ### Generator supports remote templates Latest version of the Generator is v0.36.3. Now you can develop your templates wherever you want and use them with the generator using multiple different ways. You can use them directly from GitHub, you can publish then to npm, and you can even make them available as TAR files. All possibilities are listed [here](https://github.com/asyncapi/generator#usage). All AsyncAPI official templates are now in separate repositories. We develop and release them separately. Full list of all templates is available [here](https://github.com/search?q=topic%3Aasyncapi+topic%3Agenerator+topic%3Atemplate). ### Templates related files must be moved to a dedicated directory To clearly separate template files used by the Generator, we introduced a dedicated directory where you should place them.
