# An existential crisis with courses?

Hey Reader,

As you may know, I am moving over my courses and products from Thrivecart Learn to Teachery. But I decided I didn't just want to move them over as is; I would also really look at them and upgrade them.

Some of these courses haven't had a full upgrade in 6 years, so I really wanted to take the time to do that now. Is it taking a LOT more time than expected? Oh yes, very much so. But it's also been SOOOOO good.

But I have to say, all of this is starting to feel like a bit of a **midlife crisis with courses** 😇 You know, that moment when you look at your work and think, "Did I really make that back then?" Some parts are like finding an old pair of jeans that still fit perfectly, while others... well, let’s just say I’ve got the sudden urge to throw everything out and start fresh!

You see, **I started my business on October 1st 14 years ago.** (🎂Happy Birthday to Digitalie!)

I was a young 20something with bright eyes and no clue where this business would lead me. My first webinar was in 2013 and I sounded like Minie Mouse the entire time (it turned out there was something wrong with my mic and no one dared to tell me 🤣). My first course was in 2016 (I believe). And there have been several products and courses since. As well as things that never even got launched.

I think **every creator hits that point where the things that once felt groundbreaking now feel like they need a serious facelift**. It’s been a strange mix of nostalgia and wanting to overhaul everything. Some days I’m like, "Wow, I really knew what I was doing," and others I’m practically yelling at my past self, "Why did you do it like this?!"

But wow, looking back at those early days makes me realize just how much both the business and I have grown. I may not sound like Minnie Mouse anymore (thankfully!), nor do I do social media management, but I still help business owners with their marketing and tech. And I still bring that same passion to everything I create, maybe even more so, not that I have a few more lessons learned along the way.

So, what does this mean for you? Over the next few months (even as early as in 2 weeks), **I’ll be rolling out these newly upgraded courses, and I can’t wait for you to see them**. Not only will they be refreshed so they fit better with how I recommend to do marketing now, but I’m also adding new tools and exercises to make them even more practical and actionable for you. Like custom ChatGPTs to help you create content with ease that sounds like you.

If you’ve purchased a course before, don't worry! You’ll automatically get access to the upgraded version once it's live. And if you're curious about what’s coming, stay tuned! I’ll be sharing sneak peeks and early bird offers very soon.

In the meantime, thank you for being part of this journey with me. Whether you've been around for a while or just joined, your support means the world. I can't wait to share this next phase with you!
