Hey Reader,
Did you know I have an amazing team that helps me help you? It's kinda new but I have hired help to work on your projects as well as to organise my business further.
And I have to say...
It's weird!
See, I used to do *everything*. Every email that was copied during your migration, every tech connection made, .. everything.
And now there are people helping. Amazing people, with expertises in other fields and extra sets of eyes, making it even better.
But I'm just not used to it. So this morning I realised I don't know what to do, because all tasks are currently with them. (Don't worry, it didn't take long for new tasks to pop up)
Such a luxury problem, I know, but so so so weird.
And it got me thinking...
if I feel weird about having help, even now, even knowing it’s the right thing… then it makes sense if you do too.
Especially when you’re just starting out. Or doing this alongside a job, or a family, or both.
When you’ve always been the one to figure it out, fix it, or just find a way, letting go (even just a little) can feel like dropping the ball. Or like you're losing something you didn’t realize you were holding so tightly.
But here’s what I’m learning:
Not doing everything yourself doesn’t mean you’re doing less.
It means you’re making space. Space for better ideas, deeper focus, or maybe just a quiet morning without too many tabs open in your brain.
I’m still figuring it out, honestly. Still surprised by how strange it feels.
But if you’re out there somewhere wondering if it’s okay to need help with your business, or not sure how to stop carrying it all, just know: you’re not the only one.
So yeah. It’s weird.
But weird doesn’t mean wrong.
Sometimes it just means you’re growing.
So this is one to sit with: What’s your relationship with asking for help like these days?
