# I've been nerding out on lately

Hey Reader,

Can I tell you about something I've been nerding out on lately?

I've been exploring different ways to help people reach new audiences and build real connections with them. Not the usual "post more on social and hope for the best" approach, but things that actually give people a reason to stick around.

One of them is the email course. Not a course that lives on a platform somewhere, waiting for people to remember to log in. Just a series of emails, delivered to their inbox, one lesson at a time. What I love about it is that the learner can set the pace. They can wait for each lesson to arrive daily, or click through to get the next one immediately if they're on a roll. The whole thing can unfold over a week or be done in an hour. It meets people where they are.

The other is community. A space where people with the same questions, the same struggles, the same goals can actually talk to each other. Not just consume content, but connect.

And what these two things have in common is trust. They're not about getting someone's attention for thirty seconds. They're about giving people something genuinely useful, and a reason to keep showing up.

That's what I keep coming back to when I work with clients on their marketing. Before we talk about funnels or automations or any of that, the real question is: how are you building trust with the people you want to serve?

Hit reply and let me know.
