# If you're tired, please read this

Hey Reader,

I've been seeing a lot of messages lately about how December is still a selling month. How people are still buying. How you shouldn't slow down just because it's the holiday season.

And you know what? That's all true. Some people ARE buying in December. Some businesses absolutely thrive this time of year.

But I'm also seeing people absolutely exhausted. Running on fumes. Barely holding it together. And these "you can still sell!" messages feel like one more thing they're failing at if they're not pushing through.

So here's the thing nobody seems to be saying loudly enough: just because you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD.

You CAN keep pushing. You CAN launch something. You CAN keep showing up at full speed.

But if you're tired? If you're barely holding on? If the thought of one more thing makes you want to cry?

**Stop**.

Just stop.

You're **allowed to rest**. You're allowed to take your foot off the gas. You're allowed to spend time with family, work on that hobby project, play games, do absolutely nothing productive.

And this isn't giving up. This isn't being lazy. This is recognising that sustainable business means knowing when to push and when to recover.

I'm choosing rest. Properly, this time.

From now until the new year, I'm not taking on client work. No new projects, no existing ones either. I'll be crocheting, gaming, spending time with family, and maybe poking at some of my own business projects if I feel like it. But only if I feel like it.

This year has been massive for my business. My biggest revenue month ever, actually. And you know what? I'm choosing to rest anyway. Not as a reward for the good year, but because rest isn't something you have to earn. It's something you need, regardless of how your year went.

Whether you had your best year ever or your hardest year, you're still allowed to stop. You're still allowed to recover. **Actually, if it's been a hard year, you probably need the rest even more.**

So this is your permission slip.

If you want to sell in December, brilliant. Go for it.

If you need to slow down, step back, take a proper break? Do it. Please.

You get to choose what's right for you and your energy right now, not what the internet says you should do.

I'll see you in the new year, rested and ready.

### Warmest wishes

P.S. Seriously, I won't be around until January. If you email me, I probably won't see it until the new year. And that feels really, really good.
