# Kit now connects to AI tools. I had to try it.

Hey Reader,

Kit just launched something interesting. You can now connect your Kit account directly to AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT, so the AI can actually see and work with your email data and help you with your email marketing.

I had to test it. Obviously.

So I asked Claude to analyse my cancelled subscribers from the last 90 days, to figure out which signup sources were losing the most people.

Within about two minutes, it had pulled my forms, my tags, and 200 cancelled subscriber records. It cross-referenced where each subscriber originally came from, spotted patterns in the tags, and gave me a clear breakdown.

So cool!! It was so much quicker than analysing all of this myself.

## The results

The top source of cancellations? One of my Creator Network recommendation partners.

And for a moment, that looked concerning. Until I remembered that the same source is also where most of my subscribers come from. So of course it's also the top source of cancellations. The numbers were perfectly normal when you thought about the proportions.

**That's the bit I want you to take away from this.** AI tools are brilliant at pulling data together quickly. What used to take a manual CSV export, a spreadsheet, and an hour of sorting happened in minutes. But the AI doesn't know your business as well as you do. It gave me the data. I had to bring the context.

The tool also spotted something genuinely useful: a chunk of Creator Network subscribers were cancelling within hours of signing up, before they'd even entered my welcome sequence. That's a real lead. There is something wrong there as they should immediately get the first email, so I will be looking into that. I wouldn't have spotted it easily without the data being laid out that way.

## **What else could you do with this?**

Gosh, so much. It can also help you write email sequences, like a welcome series or a launch sequence, directly into your Kit account.

You could ask your AI tool to pull a list of all your tags, forms, and sequences into a spreadsheet. That alone is a solid starting point for an account audit, seeing everything you have in one place instead of clicking through Kit screen by screen.

There are limits, though. It can't access your Visual Automations (the ones you build in Kit's automation builder), so if you want a full picture of how everything connects, you'll still need to map that part yourself.

Also, please don't fire your copywriter (or other service providers) because this tool now exists (yes, this is a story I heard). That is not the point of using AI to help you!
