Hey Reader,
So as you might know last week’s email almost didn’t go out. I knew something felt off. I kept rewriting it. It was almost there, but not quite.
Until I realised I needed it more depth by adding my Realise → Act → Adjust → Own framework. And you know what? That was it. That was the missing piece.
The irony isn’t lost on me. I was stuck in the “something’s not ready” loop… Until I realised and then acted.
Not because it suddenly was perfect. But because it was good enough to share.
Done, not perfect
It's a saying for a reason... You don't need things perfect, you need them done.
And yet... It happens all the time in marketing.
We wait for the right time, the better setup, the tool that will make it feel easier/look prettier/be better.
A client of mine was holding off on creating a quiz because she thought she needed expensive software to do it “properly.”
You know the one, the really pretty, really powerful, very pricey one. And to be honest? It IS amazing. I love using it for my clients.
But we don't need to.
My quiz is made with a free form tool and a few extra steps behind the scenes. Not fancy. Not perfect. Just a fun little quiz.
And that’s the thing: The pieces don’t have to be perfect to fit in your marketing.
So here’s your reminder this week:
You don’t have to wait for the right tools.
You don’t have to get everything completely right.
You don’t have to feel totally ready.
Start with what’s reachable. Use what you’ve already got. Let it be a little messy.
That’s the Act part of the framework.
And it’s where momentum begins.
Need help acting? Book a Pick my Brain and let's get that thing done.
