# What if they aren't ready yet?

Hey Reader,

I was talking to a client the other day who has a lot of customers looking at a certain page on her website. She explains what she does there and has a form for a free intake call.

While many people visit the page and spend quite some time there, they don't actually book a call with her.

Do you know why?

Because they don't know enough yet, they aren't ready yet for that kind of commitment.

They like what she does and are interested, but filling out a form and having a 1:1 call just feels like a step too far for them.

So my suggestion was straightforward: let's add options where they can take a smaller step:

- Signing up for a free resource like an ebook or a checklist and receiving a monthly newsletter
- Being able to follow you on social media
- Reading articles with more information

You could do any or all of these, but they allow you to connect with the potential customer while keeping it a little more lowkey for them.

What small, no-pressure steps could you introduce to make it easier for potential customers to connect with you? Take 5 minutes today to review your flow and where you could add a low-pressure option.
