Hey Reader,
Remember that email I I kept tweaking, rewriting, and second-guessing?
It took longer than I wanted, felt a bit clunky, and didn’t match the “ideal” version in my head. But I sent it anyway. And since then… the rest of the emails in this series have flowed more easily.
That’s what works for me.
Not because it’s the most strategic or polished. But because it fits how I write, how I think, and how I like to connect.
Your marketing might be different
Some people like long emails. Others skim and pull out one line. Some prefer something short, direct, and done.
And all of that? Totally valid.
There isn't the perfect way to do marketing. The point is to find your way.
That’s the final part of the framework I’ve been sharing with you: Own.
(In case you missed the others: Realise → Act → Adjust → Own.)
Owning your way of marketing means trusting:
• your rhythm
• your voice
• your strengths
• your preferences
It means doing what feels natural and easy, even if it’s not trendy. It means skipping what drains you, and leaning into what clicks.
It means letting your business feel like yours.
Not the louder version.
Not the shinier version.|
Not the templated version.
Just the one that fits how you actually want to show up and connect.
If you’ve been feeling the pressure to make your marketing look a certain way... Or quietly wondering whether your version is “right”...
This is your reminder: Your path, your pace, and your voice are yours.
And if you’d like help creating a strategy that’s shaped around how you work best, I’d love to talk.
We can talk about how we can work on your marketing together by looking at what’s already working, where you want to go, and how to shape your marketing in a way that actually feels like you.
Or hit reply and let me know how you make your marketing feel like you.
