Bloating. Constipation. That heavy, uncomfortable feeling after you eat. When your gut acts up, we all blame the same thing first: food. Debe ser algo que comí.
But most of the time, diet isn't where the problem starts.
Your gut runs on a clock, and no probiotic, cleanse, or that famous "gut reset" from Instagram can fix a rhythm that's off.
So before I ever look at someone's diet, I check the foundations: the five basics your digestion is actually built on.
Movement. Stress. Hydration. Sleep. And even what time you eat.
Get those steady, and bloating and constipation often start to ease on their own, before we change a single meal. Then we look at food. And if things still aren't right, we keep digging. But the foundations come first. Siempre.
That's exactly what my new video is about. We walk right past the supplement aisle and into the 5 gut habits that aren't food: the daily moves that keep those foundations solid, in order, with the studies behind each one.
A quick taste of why they matter: one 2025 study found that just 20 minutes of walking increased gut motility within 1–2 minutes of starting. Not next week — almost immediately. That daily after-dinner walk might be doing more for your gut than your $40 probiotic.
Your gut doesn't need perfection. It doesn't need another supplement. It needs its foundations — small, steady, most days. Y eso lo construimos juntas.
