# Will google ever fix the disaster that is the android share menu

The Android Share Menu is a complete disaster. 14 years of Android and Google still can’t fix this basic function of a smartphone. The menu is cluttered and confusing, making it a nightmare to find the right option. No, I don’t want to send a Facebook DM to someone I spoke to 4 years ago. I want to send it to my wife that I just sent 14 things to previously, she’s nowhere to be found. Customization? Forget about it. It’s a one-size-fits-all disaster. Google needs to take a hard look at this mess and fix it ASAP. Nobody needs giant quick settings or all the icons to be the same color. Fix a goddamn core feature then focus on design. It’s ridiculous that something so essential is such a pain to use.
